IMMERSION - ARC COLLECTIVE

In April 2024, the arc+ collective was invited to take over a space on the iconic Cat Street in Shibuya, Tokyo. On the upper floor of the boutique, a gallery was set up presenting works by the collective's members.

Within this space, an immersive room was created, plunging visitors into an everyday Parisian universe — one that moves away from the image of a very chic Paris, in which only a small part of the population actually lives.

Composed of objects, subway posters, and this video projected, the room offered an honest portrait of what it means to truly live in Paris. With most of the collective's members being from the city, it was important for them to share their daily reality, the world they inhabit, and their way of seeing things.
