Filmed in 2022, the images in this documentary convey the current atmosphere of the city. Focusing particularly on a group of friends and their living spaces, the documentary presents the current state of the city and includes interviews with people who remember its heyday. Through the various accounts of the inhabitants, we come to understand what may have caused these changes.
Located in the southern suburbs of the capital Tunis, Hammam Lif is a coastal town that was home to the Beys during the Tunisian monarchy and had a reputation as a bourgeois town popular with summer visitors until the 1980s.
