Natural dyeing with Sakura flowers - Tokyo, April 2024

In residence in Tokyo in spring 2024, the arc+ team was welcomed into Yuzankobo's workshop. Over the course of a collaborative day, the studio introduced us to natural dyeing and allowed us to create four unique pieces : naturally dyed t-shirts using Sakura blossoms, harvested at the height of the season.

Depending on the metal combined with the dye bath, four distinct shades of pink emerged, each singular and unrepeatable.
